Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum has successfully begun, attracting more than 200 business leaders from Norway and Ukraine. This year event provides a superb platform for enhancing further economic cooperation as well as cultural connections between two countries.
This major event is jointly organized by the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce – NUCC with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, in partnership with UkraineInvest, Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) and the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway.
The beginning of the forum featured Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg as keynote speakers and a signing ceremony of a Joint Statement on Strengthened Norwegian-Ukrainian Energy Cooperation.
According to this joint statement, Norway and Ukraine will strengthen their cooperation on the energy-related matters within the Norwegian-Ukrainian Dialogue on European Integration, including in the context of Ukraine’s goal of becoming fully integrated into the European energy market.
This is an important step towards Ukraine’s self-sufficiency and a way of developing a new technologies in Ukraine.
