Turkey unveils plans for logistics hub in Ukraine to bolster Black Sea transit cooperation.

Turkey unveils plans for logistics hub in Ukraine to bolster Black Sea transit cooperation. Turkey and Ukraine have begun discussions over Turkish plans to create a logistics hub in Ukraine as part of efforts to boost the transport and transit efficiencies and logistical synergies of the Black Sea neighbors. Turkish officials see the hub as a way of increasing maritime traffic between the two countries while strengthening their potential as transit countries along Eurasian trade routes or as part of the China-led Silk Road initiative. The initiative comes as Ukraine seeks to support the growth of transit routes linking the country to China via the Black Sea, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.
