Ukrainian homeowners continue to install solar power in early 2019.

The number of Ukrainian households with solar power capacity rose by 20% in the first quarter of 2019 as the country’s embrace of renewable energy continued to gather momentum. According to figures released by Ukraine’s State Agency for Energy Efficiency, 1,393 Ukrainian households installed solar power generating panels during the January-March 2019 period, taking the national total to 8,850 homes. Dnipropetrovsk region is currently home to the largest concentration of residential solar power installations, with 1072 households having access to their own solar power. In second place is Ternopil (808 homes), followed by Ivano-Frankivsk and Kirovohrad regions.
